I created a Superflat (Japanese Movement) inspired piece of the moon behind clouds in combination with my Chang'e (Chinese Goddess) research.

Combining Chinese ink art/calligraphy with collage.

As part of a summer project, I decided to explore abstract style and colour in combination with portraiture.

For an exhibition piece, I painted my icing paintings onto a box and attached a light bulb inside to project the paintings onto the wall. I stuck pieces of coloured cellophane inside the box so it would project the colours as well as the paintings onto the walls.

Pieces from an exhibition my class had done in St. Margaret's Church of art, Norwich.

On each of the four sides, I painted abstract images of eyes and Chinese calligraphy. I had translated a few of my own poems into Chinese and used some of the lines in my artwork.
